Job description

OPL has an exciting opportunity for 2 x shore-based logistics supervisors to support remote drilling operations in West Africa.
During operations, the Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the entire scope of logistics arrangements in-country.

General Duties:
Together with the Project Manager, ensures that contracts are in place for the logistics requirements in-country
Manage equipment mobilization plans, demobilization plans and look-ahead meets the schedule for importation, mobilization to the rig, and demobilization from the country
Management of the customs function to ensure OPL and its clients complies with Customs (import/export) regulations
Carries the anti-corruption message to customs clearance and vendors
Successful execution of all in-country logistics operations including supervision and management of OPL's in-country logistics team
Establish Service company/vendor performance KPI’s,
Manage the personnel crew change operation with assistance from the travel coordinator
Verify all vendors invoices and back up documentation prior to submission to accounts
Manage supply base activities including material movements, mobilization, and closeout.
Closeout the campaign inventory, costings, and customs status for all logistics materials and activities.
Completion of Logistics end of well reports
Ensures completion of Logistics after-action reviews

Leadership and HSE:
Display a personal commitment to incident-free operations, no-one gets hurt, and excellent safety performance
Actively participates in safety observation programs and “Leading Indicator” activity as required
Ensure onshore and offshore logistics operations (vessel loading etc.) are carried out to the highest HSE performance standards in line with the OPL's aspiration of“healthy, safe and secure operations that cause no incident, no harm to people, no damage to the environment, based on mutual cooperation”.
Provide ER and oil spill contingency support to the offshore team in the event of an emergency or drill
Execute the “STOP WORK AUTHORITY” as per the approved client stop work policy.

Communication & Reporting:
Responsible for preparing logistics weekly report
Ensures all logistics reports are issued in a timely manner
