OPL has an exciting International opportunity for two offshore DLC's opportunity to join our team to support offshore drilling activities in West Africa. The successful candidate will provide offshore logistics & materials support.
Summary
Position: Offshore Drilling Materials and Logistics Coordinator
Location: Offshore - West Africa
Duration: ~6-month initial contract, with potential extensions
Rotation: TBA
Start: May-June 2021
Rate: negotiable - contract
Main responsibility: Coordination, inspection and further handling of all material and personnel to/from rig offshore. Be the liaison between the client's logistics team onshore, supply base, and clients representatives on board.Coordinate all cargo and personnel to and from rig in accordance with ongoing operation and in cooperation with the logistics team onshore.Perform materials planning; ensuring cost-effective options are utilised.Regular contact with the supply base and marine to ensure efficient loading.Support storekeeper and deck crew regarding which equipment to be sent onshore and when.Main contact for onshore logistics coordinator.Main liaison for service personnel on board when planning of personnel move, equipment in and out.Other logistics-related tasks as requiredQualifications/Experience:Minimum 5 years in an Offshore DMC role (essential)Previous onshore (supply base) logistics & materials experience (desirable)Wels or SAP knowledgeExcellent knowledge in drilling materials and logistics operationsDangerous Goods Air & Sea (essential )Offshore medical & survival training
